You will also be notified via the 'Inbox' in your application file.
There are 3 possibilities:
- Your child has been given a place in the school of first choice
You can register your child in the school of your first choice? Go to the school between 9 May (8 a.m.) and 31 May (4 p.m.) and register your child. In that case, all the other school options are cancelled: the child is thus no longer on a waiting list. You can find more information in the notification message.
- Your child has been given a place in the school of 2nd, 3rd, 4th ... choice
You can register your child in a school that was not your first choice? Go to the school between 9 May (8 a.m.) and 31 May (4 p.m.) and register your child. Your child is also placed on the waiting list of the schools of preference listed ahead of that school. You can find more information in the notification message.
- Your child has not been given a place.
Your child didn't get a place? You will recieve a document of unsuccesfull registration along with the notification message. Your child is placed on the waiting list for all the schools chosen. When a place becomes available, the school will contact you.
Read here what to do if your child didn't get a place.
I have a place in a school that was not my 1st choice?
E.g.: your child gets a place in a school you listed in 3rd place.
Go to that school between 9 and 31 May 2022 and register your child.
Your child will automatically get an unfavourable ranking in the schools you listed in 1st and 2nd place. You will receive a document of unsuccessfull registration (weigeringsdocument) from both these schools and your child's name will be put on the waiting list. The school will contact you as soon as a place becomes available.
The waiting list remains valid until 7 October 2022. For children born in 2020, the waiting list will remain valid until 30 June 2023.
Which documents should I take with me when I go to register my child?
I didn't apply for a place for my child. What should I do?
