Registering in a school that operates an application procedure for 1A

  • 4 - 15 January 2021: priority for siblings of pupils and children of staf
  • 1 - 26 March 2021: applications via inschrijveninbrussel.be
  • 29 March - 29 April 2021: verification of the documents
  • 6 May 2021: email or information letter
  • 7 May - 1 June 2021: registrations
  • 3 June 2021: available places online 
  • from 4 June 2021: open registrations

Registering in a school that does not operate an application procedure for the 1st grade A of B

  • 4 - 15 January 2021: priority for siblings of pupils and children of staf
  • 7 May - 1 June 2021: registrations without refusal for capacity reasons
  • 3 June 2021: available places online 
  • from 4 June 2021: open registrations

Registering in a school for a higher grade

  • 10 - 26 May 2021: priority for pupils with Dutch-speaking parents
  • from 27 May 2021: open registrations

Registering in a school for special education that operates an application procedure
(Koninklijk Instituut Woluwe, Kasterlinden, Cardijnschool en Heemschool II)

  • 4 - 15 January 2021: priority for siblings of pupils and children of staf
  • 1 - 12 March 2021: applications + verification documents priority Dutch-speaking parents
  • 18 March 2021: email or information letter
  • 22 March - 23 April 2021: registrations
  • from 27 April 2021: open registrations

Registering in a school for special education that does not operate an application procedure

  • 4 - 15 January 2021: priority for siblings of pupils and children of staf
  • priority for pupils with Dutch-speaking parents: to be defined
  • open registrations: to be defined

Priority for Dutch-speaking parents
Pupils with at least 1 parent who is sufficiently proficient in Dutch enjoy priority when registering. This priority applies to 55% of the places. If you want to qualify for this priority, submit a proof that one of the parents has as a minimum attained Dutch proficiency level B2.
